GI Laser Treatment
Your esophagus is the hollow tube that is responsible for carrying food and liquids from your throat to your stomach. Early esophageal cancer usually has no symptoms. However, as the cancer begins to grow, symptoms will arise and may include painful or difficult swallowing, weight loss and a blood producing coughing.
Treatments for esophageal cancer include:
- Surgery
- Radiation
- Chemotherapy
- Laser treatment therapy
You might also need nutritional support since the cancer and/or treatment may make swallowing difficult.
